Flom USA who is the owner of this site distributes the products of Flom Co. Ltd in North America. All products shown on this website are produced by Flom Co. Ltd in Tokyo, Japan.

The company name of “FLOM” is derived from the combination of “flow” and the letter “M” which stands for mechatronics. The O and M in the flom logo are mean to represent the ball and valve seat inside check valves. FLOM Co., Ltd. was founded in October 1990.

In the following year, they developed the industry-first ultra-miniature high performance degassing equipment, “GASTORR,” which offered a drastic improvement to the conventional hard-to-use degassers, and began world-wide marketing and sales operation.  In 1992, the ultra-miniature intelligent pump, engineered with an innovative and unconventional technology quickly drew attention.  Its compact size facilitated the mounting of the ultra-miniature intelligent pump inside larger systems. Therefore, Flom began to focus on miniaturization while also steadily improving operability.  Flom continues to provide products that meet customers’ needs by benefiting from the considerable expertise that they have gained over the years to development even better new products.

Flom has a long history of introducing many new products to the market.  Flom remains committed to developing “unconventional” HPLC parts and subsystems.  Flom continues to expand its export opportunities in the United States, Europe, Australia and other Asian countries.
