No more pulse dampers required on HPLC pumps
Intelligent Dual Piston Pump
Flom AI HPLC Pumps are able to achieve a quieter baseline than traditional HPLC pumps that require a pulse damper, but without it. Built-in pressure sensors detects pulses in the mobile phase flow. Then the speed of the piston during each stroke is changed in order to stop in the baseline pulsation. This has no effect on the overall flow rate.
Pulse quenching works well even with gradient mode of HPLC, which requires using two AI pumps and a gradient controller. The volume between pump and column can be as small as 50 µl with an appropriately chosen mixer size. Such small volumes permit a minimum of delay time between when the solvent ratio changes and when its effect on the column is seen. This feature is an extremely powerful tool for microliter flow rates.
Directly controllable from the front key-panel without add-ons. Also controllable through built-in communication board with the 3rd party softwares.
